Dear Xiaowei,

　　It’s been weeks since we last talked. I miss you very much.

　　Being far away from home, I am always thinking about you and our parents. I wanted to go home earlier last month, but later I didn’t because of the bad weather.

　　Last week, I called home when mum talked about you with me. Obviously she worried about you very much because you didn’t follow her advice. I know the reasons, but I don’t understand why you were so stubborn at that time. You could simply pretend to obey her, but not make her worried all the time. You should have known that she is so vulnerable and she is so weak. In fact, I always worry about mum’s health and avoid making her worried.

　　Recently, I am thinking about the coming future of our family. Next year, I am going to Beijing for graduate study in the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. There are no tuitions there and I won’t have to pay for the residency.
