　　現在地球上受污染最嚴重的資源，就是水資源。原來那清澈的小河，現在上面飄滿了垃圾，再加上工廠排放的工業污水，河水現在又黑又臭，從河邊路過的人都要捂著鼻子，小河里的魚呀、蝦呀早就消失得無影無蹤了。

　　再抬頭看一看天空，總是灰蒙蒙的，哪叫藍天白云，簡直是灰天灰云。晚上也只能看看月亮，星星都不見了。看得最多的還是工廠那又粗又高的`煙囪里冒出的一股黑煙。走到街上，經常可以聞到汽車排出的油煙味。我們周圍到處都受者污染。

If the problem is left unsolved, we may soon have no water fit to drink, no clean air to breathe, let alone develop our economy.
