中國的橋梁建設有著悠久的歷史。中國古代橋梁以木材和石頭為主要建筑材料,形式多樣，極富特色。中國現存最古老的橋梁為隋代建造的安濟橋，位于河北省趙縣。安濟橋又名趙州橋，橋長50.82米，橋寬9米，為國家重點保護的文物(cultural relic)。清朝末年，蘭州黃河鐵橋建成，標志著中國橋梁建設進入了以鋼鐵和混凝土(concrete)為主要材料的時期。如今，中國的橋梁建設保持著多項世界記錄，中國躋身于世界橋梁建設強國行列。

1.“由于中國有豐富的勞動力資源…”,可以使用owing to是“受到世界各國的歡迎”的原因，翻譯時可以使用on account of引出理由，避免重復。
2.“中國的制造業(yè)迅速發(fā)展”與“‘中國制造’已經成為一個在全球廣受認識的標簽”是因果關系，為避免與前面表達原因的短語重復，可以使用短語thanks to...。
3.在“盡管全球大量的電子產品和鞋都是中國制造，但這些產品的設計都是在歐美國家完成的”中，“電子產品和鞋”是“制造”的受動者，“設計”是“完成”的受動者，故使用被動語態(tài)來翻譯。

1.第一句話的漢語由兩個分句組成，句子較長，在譯成英文時，可把它拆分成兩句。“也指發(fā)源于中國的`烹飪方式”可單獨譯成一句also refers to cooking styles originating fromChina，這樣可以更好的體現兩句的并列關系。
2.第二句話由三個分句組成。翻譯時將“中國菜流派眾多”譯為主句，“歷史悠久”用with a history of...來表達，“主要代表菜系有…”則用非限制性定語從句表示。這樣可以使譯文結構緊湊，句式多樣。
3.第三句中的“風格各異”可以用be distinctive from表達，比用have different styles更地道。
