　　讓我們扣人心弦的英語即將來臨，我們個個都心潮澎湃。在英語晚會到來的前幾天，同學都在忙著把自己班的教室打扮很絢麗、新穎。我們教室也不賴，在教室的燈上，掛著五顏六色的彩帶，燈一開，彩帶就會發出耀眼的光芒，在講臺上面，還有一串雪花，正中間，還有大鈴鐺，窗子上，到處貼的都是雪花，好像真的下雪了一樣教室的.后門最花了，各種彩帶都掛了下來，光彩奪目。我們再把桌子移到周圍，中間空出。教室布置好了，就只要等待英語晚會到來。

　　讓我們苦苦等待英語晚會終于到來了，那天晚上，我們早早地用好晚餐，快步流星地來到教室。英語晚開始了，我們同學們都把自己帶的零食發好，接著就打開電視觀看表演，看完，就開始班級表演。同學們一邊帶著圣誕帽津津有味地吃著零食，一邊欣賞同學表演的節目，真是不亦樂乎。第一個節目是唱歌，表演完后，掌聲一陣陣響起來，下一組是我表演課本劇，表演完，只聽一陣掌聲，我懸著的心終于放下了。后面幾組表演完后開始玩游戲，接著又開始。過了一會兒，“圣誕老人”來了，全體同學都擁了過去，全班立即沸騰起來。

　　上周二的晚上，我在臥室寫英語作業。

　　寫完英語作業，我就讓媽媽上樓來檢查。但是卻隨手把英語書放到書桌下的抽屜里了。因為英語書被我在學校涂涂抹抹，弄得破爛不堪了。所以我不敢讓媽媽看到，如果媽媽看見了不堪入目的英語書，非揍我一頓不可！

　　檢查完英語作業，我把英語作業本往書包里一放，就睡覺去了。可是，英語書還躺在抽屜里呢！

　　第二天下午到了學校，上英語課的時候，英語老師說：“同學們，把英語書拿出來，我們復習一下昨天學習的單詞。”我就低頭去找英語書。

　　我先在課桌里找，沒找到，不由緊張了起來。然后，趕緊翻書包，還是沒找到，于是就更緊張了。第三次找的時候，我把書包和抽屜翻了個底朝天，竟然還是沒找到。此時此刻，我的`心情既緊張又害怕。，小心臟咚咚咚直跳。同桌見我沒拿英語書，趕緊把自己的書移到中間和我一起看。我很感激同桌，但是心里還是七上八下的:英語書不在學校，難道在家里？

　　回到家，我著著急忙慌地對奶奶說：“奶奶，我的英語書不見了。”奶奶就陪我到書店，準備買一本回家。可是書店關門了，我悶悶不樂地和奶奶回了家。

　　第三天，我在書桌上寫作業，覺得很無聊，就想看看書，結果卻在抽屜里發現了英語書。心想：英語書又沒有長腿，他怎么就跑到書桌的抽屜里去了呢？經過一番苦苦地思索，才記起來：原來是我自己健忘，忘記把英語書裝進書包里了啊！

　　英語書就這樣失而復得了，以后我可要堅決改掉粗心健忘這個毛病。
