　　Hello- everyone, today I am very glad to stand here. My topic is "Make Our Cities Green".

　　Are there some trees in your city? l)o you like a place with a lot ol trees? With industries and businesses developing quickly, the number of trees in many big cities has dramatically rcduccd. Efforts are being made to prevent people from cutting more trees. But a lot of trees arc being destroyed by people who have never thought ol ihe importance of green plants.

　　Making cities greener has many advantages. First, it can make our air cleaner. Some researchers have proven that trees can reduce the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere through absorption. Second, it can make our cities more beautiful. With trees and flowers everywhere- living conditions can be improved.

　　I look forward to seeing more and more green cities not only in China but in the world. Thank you for your listening.
