　　The Two Bags

　　Every man carries Two Bags about with him, one in front and one behind, and both are packed full of faults. The Bag in front contains his neighbours’ faults, the one behind his own. Hence it is that men do not see their own faults, but never fail to see those of others.

　　【譯文】

　　兩個口袋

　　每個人生來都帶著兩個口袋，一個在前，一個在后，兩個口袋里都滿載缺點。前面那只口袋里裝的是別人的缺點，而后面那只口袋里則裝滿的'是自己的缺點。因此，人們總是看不見自己的缺點，卻永遠也不會忽視去看別人的缺點。

　　The assin the lion's skin

　　An Ass found a Lion's Skin, and dressed himself up in it. Then he went about frightening every one he met, for they all took him to be a lion, men and beasts alike, and took to their heels when they saw him coming. Elated by the success of his trick, he loudly brayed in triumph. The Fox heard him, and recognised him at once for the Ass he was, and said to him, "Oho, my friend, it's you, is it? I, too, should have been afraid if I hadn't heard your voice."

　　披著獅皮的驢

　　一頭驢發現了一張獅子的皮，于是就披到身上。他走出去嚇唬其它動物，所有見到他的人和動物都把他當成獅子，嚇得四處逃跑。驢見自己的詭計得逞了。興奮地大叫起來。狐貍聽到他的聲音，立刻認出這是一頭驢，于是就對他說：“哦，朋友，這才是真正的`你，是嗎?要不是聽到了你的聲音，我也被你嚇著了。”突然一陣風刮來，把驢身上披著的獅子皮吹走了，驢子原形畢露。這時，動物們見此情形，又都跑回來，用木板和棍棒狠狠地打他。

　　A Beautiful Doll

　　Tina is a lovely girl. She has a lot of dolls. One of these dolls is very beautiful. She has long blond hair and wears a white dress. The little girl likes her very much. She called her “Sandy”. You would forget all the sad things and become happy when you see her. Tina tried to teach Sandy to speak, but she failed. When she is free, Tina always made clothed for her. When she is unhappy or met with some difficulties, Tina talked to her, because they are close friends. What a lovely girl she is! Do you like it, too?

　　緹娜是一個可愛的女孩， 她有許多洋娃娃。其中有個是很沒得：她有著金色的長發，穿著一件白色的連衣裙。小女孩非常喜歡它，因此， 小女孩叫她“桑迪”。當你看到它的時候就會高興，會忘記所有不開心的`事。 緹娜試著教桑迪說話，可她失敗了。 當緹娜空閑時，她時常會桑迪縫衣服。當她遇到不快樂的事或碰倒困難的時候，緹娜中哦你對它傾述，因為他們是親密的朋友。多么可愛的一個女孩啊! 你也喜歡它嗎?
