　　A punctual person is in the habit of doing things at proper time in a planned way and is always keeping his appointment. He knows that if he wants to succeed in his work and society he must observe regular or appointed time. The unpunctual mall, on the contrary, seldom does what he bas to do at the set time. If he has made an appointment with someone, he never cares about the appointed time and is likely to be late for half an hour.

　　Unpanetuality is very harmful. Friends sometimes grow cold to wards each other, or even become enemies, because one of them has been remiss in keeping appointments. Imagine how it would be if those who are entrusted with important tasks failed to be at their proper place at the appointed time. A man who is known to be habitually unpunctual is never trusted by his friends, his classmates or colleagues.

　　There is a proverb which says, "There is a time for everything." This is true. In fact time is life itself, and the man who really has a great deal to do is very careful of his time and is no doubt fond of punctuality.

　　Punctuality is a very important when you communicate with others. It means the quality or habit of adhering to an appointed time. Just imagine this, if you fail to attend an important meeting, you may leave a bad impression on others. Others will be angry with you. Thus, one should always be punctual. This can show your consideration for others. Failure to be punctual is a sign of disrespect to others. Some people hate to wait for others, but they don’t mind being waited for. In this case, they are not respected by others. This kind of people always can find excuses for being late. Such as, stuck on the traffic jams, waking up too late. They never mean to come earlier. I think such behaviour is very selfish. Everybody should form the habit of being punctual. It’s the main element of good quality. Just remember don’t be late.

Perhaps if everybody waspunctual, there would be less suffering and sorrow. Punctuality is the main constituent of good character. A person who is ontime for his appointment shows his real consideration for others. On the other hand, a person who is always late shows hisselfishness and thoughtlessness and he is not the person that is worthy to be friends with. To be or not to be punctual is ahabit. So when we are young, we should try to be punctual every time and never be late, for it is much more easily acquiredin youth than when we are older.
