Acquaintance are usually with you for what they can get. Maybe, they like to be with you because you are popular. People usually have few friends and many acquaintances.

　　Friends are always there when you need them. They are dependable and responsible they share your sorrow and happiness. They are not interested in what they can get from you. They influence your development, maturity and sense of responsibility. They also warn you when you are in danger of doing wrongly. Yes, friends are wonderful. 　　it is very uncomfortable to inhale the smoke of a cigarette smoker. i know this for a fact, since my father smokes a lot. when we are together in a a room, the smoke he ehales fills my lungs and also makes my eyes water.

　　if possible, smoking in public should be banned altogether, because it is unfair for non-smokers to go through the ordeal of breathing smoke-filled air. so it is very inconsiderate of people to smoke in front of others. in airplanes, people who smoke are separated from passengers who don＇t. for the sake of everybody＇s health, i think this should be done in other public places too.

　　吸入抽煙者所吐出的煙是件很不舒服的事。這一點我很清楚，因為我爸爸煙抽得很兇。當我們同處一個房間時，他吐出的煙充滿了我的肺，也嗆得我兩眼流淚。

　　星期五下午班隊課，全校同學到操場集合。主席臺上掛著橫幅：“激情英語大家唱”。連四位主持人說話也是一遍中文，一遍英文，使我們既緊張，又興奮。萬事開頭難，首先是一年級小同學演唱，雖然很簡單，但他們唱的很賣力，動作也很復雜。一看就是用了心思的，沒想到小屁孩們也不賴嘛！大家情不自禁地鼓起掌來，二年級可一定要超過他們，這不，一首“Sunday Monday”像磁鐵一樣吸引我們，英語老師在前面跟他們一起做動作，讓我聯想到朱老師，她為同學們付出了多少血汗��！我們一定要回報老師們。

　　我們班同學已經迫不及待地想去表演，主持人終于說：“下面請四年級同學表演“Mr sun”以及英語版校歌！”“Oh Mr sun，sun……”這幾個星期的勞累，好像一下子釋放出來，我們盡情地跳著，快樂之花在每個人的`臉上綻放著！

　　六年級是英語知識最豐富的年級，他們演唱的是南非世界杯主題歌——waka waka！不過我們班也跟著他們一起沾光。你可能會問：四年級哪能跟六年級一起唱歌呀？你們會唱嗎？waka waka 可是我們班耳熟能詳的老歌曲了，大部分同學都會唱。不過李滋、吳蓉、文童她們來了點兒新創意，換上虎皮裝，用口紅在臉上胡亂畫上幾道，光著腳丫，甩著頭發，成了21世紀的“野人”！我們光顧著看主席臺上“野人”們的舞蹈，卻全然不顧后面的六年級，因為她們的舞蹈體現了世界杯的瘋狂與熱情，實在太精彩了！
