寒假趣事英語日記

　　放寒假了，經過半年的學習，我也知道要尊老愛幼了，還順便去給舅外公拜拜年。

　　After half a year's study, I also know that I should respect the old and love the young. I also pay a new year's visit to my uncle and grandfather by the way.

　　我也準備去探望外婆。我們收拾好行李，懷著高興的心情踏上了轎車。在車上，我們談聲說笑，不知不覺就到了外婆家。

　　I'm going to visit grandma, too. We packed up and stepped on the car with joy. In the car, we talked and laughed, and unconsciously went to grandma's house.

　　一到外婆家，我就感到了親情的溫暖，我看到外婆對我的愛。一大早，外婆帶著我們一起來到舅外公家拜年。舅外公家里真是漂亮，我一進門就拿了一個大大的紅包給我過年，我高興得不得了。

　　As soon as I arrived at Grandma's house, I felt the warmth of my family. I saw grandma's love for me. In the early morning, grandma took us to my uncle's house to celebrate the new year. My uncle's family is really beautiful. As soon as I came in, I took a big red bag to celebrate the new year. I was so happy.

　　舅外公家非常大，到處都有熱鬧的氣氛。真不知道怎樣形容才好。更沒想到的是，舅外婆準備了香噴噴的飯菜給我們享用，我們也吃得津津有味。

　　My uncle's family is very big. There is a lively atmosphere everywhere. I don't know how to describe it. What's more, my aunt prepared delicious food for us, and we enjoyed it.

　　吃完飯，我便跑到后門那里和妹妹玩起了水，妹妹打水我潑水，玩著玩著便打起了水仗，弄得衣服上全是水，媽媽狠狠地罵了我一頓。但我心里還是非常開心。

　　After dinner, I ran to the back door and played with my sister. I splashed water when my sister played with her. Playing with her, I had a water fight. My clothes were full of water. My mother scolded me severely. But I'm still very happy.

　　這個寒假真是快樂的寒假。

　　This winter vacation is really a happy one.
